Voices From the Field

“I view education like medicine; there are always new medications, research, and ideas to implement. Therefore, having a mentor who can see our program with a different lens is beneficial for me.”

Early Childhood Educator

“[We need] Workforce initiatives to help draw people to the ECE field. Provided professional development and mentorship opportunities for teachers concerning disabilities and challenging behaviors.”

Early Childhood Educator

“As an admin, I tried my best to provide resources needed and enough resources for the field to prevent burnout, but there is a shortage of people in the field. It’s a lot of responsibility for one person who is expected to do so many things in one day on their own.”
